Grade 5- Bilingual Class – Summer Homework
Grade 5- Bilingual Class – Summer
Homework
Dear parents,
This summer vacation we have decided
for the students to create a short video presentation as their summer homework. This is to help promote clear speaking
through a different medium other than being in the classroom. Students will need to work on being clear,
vocal and able to explain their thoughts clearly. Students should not just memorize a speech
and read off into the camera.
The video should be 1 minute 30
seconds to 2 minutes long.
·
Topics to discuss
·
Your holiday abroad
·
Travel around Taiwan
·
Your favorite day
·
Something new you learnt
·
Any summer experiences
Remember- use props or items to help show what you did. Speak clearly. Speak in the past tense for
the event you did. Speak in the present
tense on how you feel about it now. Speak
in the future tense if you want to do this event/ activity again.
Please send the
video to your homeroom English teacher either by; Line, E-mail, or USB. This should be handed in on the first day of
school as this will be played in the first experience class and will be
discussed with students as a Q&A lesson.
If you have any
questions about the homework, please contact your English homeroom teacher.
Kind Regards,
Grade 5 Teachers
